So I build a new PC and downloaded Skyrim on it. The thing is, that for some weird reason the game is on German and not on English, like it actually should be. I didnt find a way to change the language in the ingame settings. Does anyone know how to change the language? Thanks.
No. Steam is racist and keep reseting the language to my local language too. Sometimes mods change the language on you, so make sure none of your mods are English only. Turn out it was because mod organizer 2 keeps a local copy of skyrim.ini and skyrimprefs.ini so changing in steam had no effect.
I can't change the language in the game in steam the language is german but in game its english ,why?

Go the Language tab and pick your preference from the drop-down menu, then close to confirm. The second step you need to follow is about a text edit of the Skyrim.ini file from Mod Organizer (Tools > Editor INI). Simply type the new language you want (example, ENGLISH) replacing the default one.
